The Leigh Arms stands right next to Acton Swing Bridge over the River Weaver Navigation. There is a path leading to the river from the beer garden, as well as a childrens' play area and a patio/terrace area.
Inside there is a restaurant area that is separate, but still in touch with the bar. It serves a range of traditional pub food as well as other more exotic dishes. It can be busy, especially on summer weekends.
A Robinsons pub, it servers Robinsons Unicorn and mild, as well as a couple of Guest Beers. In addition to the usual lagers etc, there are 3 ciders on tap, Westons Stowford Press, a hand-pulled traditional-style cider from Westons (which varies), and Strongbow.
The Leigh Arms pub has a regular music night with a variety of soloists and bands on.
