There are a variety of opportunities to get involved with events and projects within Little Leigh for people with a wide range of skills.
Parish Councillors:
Following the local elections in May, there are vacancies for Parish Councillors. You don't need any specific qualifications, only
- be a British subject, or citizen of the European Union
- be 18 years of age or over on the date you are nominated.
and additionally;
- be on the electoral register for the parish; or
- during the whole of the twelve months preceding the date you are nominated, occupied as
owner or tenant any land or other premises in the parish; or
- have your principle place of work within the parish.

Little Leigh Parish Council needs a range of skills to work as a team in order to make decisions which maintain all aspects of the parish's environment and for the benefit of all parishoners. Anyone who can bring enthusiasm and a positive attitude will be welcomed.

Little Leigh Parish Plan was formally launched on Friday 21st October 2005.
A copy should have been delivered to each house in the village. It's now available online and you can download a copy of the plan here. (PDF format, size approx 1.4MB)
It has been accepted by Little Leigh Parish Council as a document that represents the views of the villagers of Little Leigh.

Vale Royal Borough Council Rural Housing Enabler, Phil Addison, presented to Little Leigh Parish Council about Affordable Housing at the Parish Council meeting held on 19th November 2008. A majority vote agreed that a Housing Needs Survey should be conducted. The background about this survey can be read here. The survey was sent to all households in January 2009.
