Saturday 17th April - 2pm outside the Village Hall
Now in its 4th year, it's a confirmed annual event on the Little Leigh calendar!
A gentle stroll of no more than a couple of hours around the footpaths, towpaths and lanes of the village. Optional refreshments at a pub at the end, and a chance to survey the state of the gates and stiles.
This year the route will be down to the canal at Hole House Lane, towards Barnton and down to Salterford Locks, then back along the River Weaver to the Leigh Arms, and back up the hill. A map of the route taken last year can be seen here.
If the weather is unfavourable, the route might be changed for a shorter one on the day.
Info on a previous years' walk can be found here.
